Bryan Mark Rigg
Bryan's Story
He is the author of Hitler’s Jewish Soldiers, which won the William E. Colby Award for Military History, was featured on NBC-TV’s Dateline, and has been translated into eleven languages. He is also the author of Rescued from the Reich, Lives of Hitler’s Jewish Soldiers, and The Rabbi Saved by Hitler’s Soldiers.
Education & Experience
Bryan Mark Rigg completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University in 1996 receiving honors in History and the prestigious Henry Fellowship to conduct graduate studies at Cambridge University in England where he completed his Masters in 1997 and his Ph.D. in 2002.
Bryan has served as a volunteer in the Israel Army and an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He has served on the boards of the Iwo Jima American Association, a former AJC member (2011 – 2020), and the Dallas Holocaust Museum, and is currently serving on the American Jewish Committee Board in Dallas, Texas.
